Georgia Marina Andreou

Postdoctoral Associate


Georgia Andreou received her PhD in Archaeology from the University of Edinburgh. Her research focuses on the Prehistory of the Eastern Mediterranean and her interests include:

  • Archaeological survey, landscape studies, theory and methods
  • Coastal archaeology, preservation, legislation
  • Urbanisation, economic theory
  • Trade and globalisation
  • Digital archaeology design, data management, website design

Assessment, publication and digital dissemination of the Maroni Valley Archaeological Survey Project (MVASP)

Preparation of articles regarding coastal erosion and its impact on the archaeology of the Cypriot coastline

Publication of chapters of her PhD, entitled: “Traversing Place: Landscape and Identity in Bronze Age Cyprus”.
